United Utilities Water Charges
Updated today - click the link below for details.
United Utilities are one of a handful of Water companies who are implementing new charges for the disposal of surface water (i.e. rain water) from
non-domestic customers based on land area rather than rateable value. This change is being phased in over a period of three years and some Cricket Clubs
are facing increases for this element of their Water bill from a couple of hundred pounds per annum to several thousand pounds per annum.
Obviously, this has severe implications for the financial survival of all Clubs.
