The section was formed in 1984 and now has ten teams - two in the Mid-Cheshire Ladies League, two mixed teams
in both the Norley Evening and Afternoon Leagues, and four in the Mid-Cheshire League.
2009 was an enjoyable year when league positions were consolidated and our team average winners included our oldest player,
Harry Hughes – mid 80’s – and our youngest player, Jack Whalley - in his teens.
Sarah Johnson achieved the highest averages for her Division in Norley League.
New members are always very welcome, particularly juniors. Currently we have over 70 members, including some ‘returners’
and 2 who are new to bowls. As well as league bowls, the Club offers more relaxed internal competitions for bowls section members;
the green is usually free most weekends as well as most weekdays for practise.
A nominal green fee applies to non-bowls members.
The green and facilities can be hired for private functions by prior arrangement with the bowls section committee.
